1. About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and the operator of Growth Janta Party ("GJP", "we", "us"): the website at https://growthjantaparty.in and the Instagram page @growth_janta_party_official (https://www.instagram.com/growth_janta_party_official/).
Who runs GJP: Lishu Gupta, as an individual. GJP is not a company yet. If a company or trust is formed ([FUTURE ENTITY NAME]), it will take over these terms and we will tell you.
By using GJP you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy and our Community Guidelines. If you don't agree, please don't use GJP.
2. What GJP is, and what it isn't
GJP is a non-partisan space for one goal: making government services work better. You can:
- browse a list of central-government schemes, with links to official websites;
- report issues with government services, propose fixes, and suggest new schemes;
- comment, vote up or down, and mark whether a scheme worked or didn't work for you;
- follow an issue's status as GJP tracks it.
GJP is not:
- a political party. It isn't registered with the Election Commission, doesn't contest elections, and doesn't support or oppose any party or candidate;
- a government website, or affiliated with, endorsed by or speaking for any government, ministry, department or public body;
- a complaint channel to the government. Posting here doesn't file an official complaint. For that, use the official grievance portals (for example CPGRAMS) or the department's own channel.
3. Important disclaimers
- Scheme information may be out of date or incomplete. Schemes change, close and get renamed. Always check the official government website before you apply or act.
- Not advice. Nothing on GJP is legal, financial, tax, medical or professional advice.
- Links to other sites. We link to official and other websites we don't control. We aren't responsible for their content, accuracy or privacy practices.
- User posts are users' views, not ours. Approving a post for publication only means it meets our guidelines. It doesn't mean we agree with it or have checked it.
- Status labels and reactions are not official. An issue's status ("reported", "under review", "fixed" and so on) is GJP's own tracking. "Works / didn't work" counts are what users say, not verified facts.
4. Who can use GJP
- Anyone can read GJP.
- To create an account, post, comment or vote you must be 18 or older and able to enter a binding agreement. We will delete accounts we believe belong to someone under 18.
- One account per person. Don't share it or use someone else's.
- You sign in through Kinde (email or Google). Keep your sign-in secure. You're responsible for what happens through your account.
5. Your content
What it covers: issues, fixes, suggestions, comments, votes, reactions and your display name ("your content").
- You own your content. You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, store, display, reproduce and share it on GJP and GJP's Instagram and social channels, and to make small format changes (for example layout on a social post). We will credit your display name, and we never edit your words on GJP. If a post names a person or shares personal details, we don't edit it out: we reject or hide the whole post and tell you why, so you can post it again without them.
- The licence ends when your content is deleted from GJP, except for copies we must keep by law (see Privacy Policy §8) and posts already shared publicly before deletion.
- You promise that your content is yours to share, is honest to the best of your knowledge, and follows these terms and the law.
- You are legally responsible for your content. That includes defamation and any other claims arising from it.
- Your public content can be seen and quoted by anyone, including the media and government.
6. Community rules: what you must not post
These rules apply to everything on GJP. The Indian law behind them includes the IT Act 2000, the IT Rules 2021 (rule 3(1)(b)), the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita 2023 and the Representation of the People Act 1951.
6.1 People: talk about services, not individuals
- Don't name, identify or accuse individual people: officials, staff, politicians or private persons. Describe the office, service, place and date instead ("the RTO in Pune, March 2026"), not "Officer X".
- No abuse, threats, harassment or bullying of anyone.
- No allegations of crime or corruption against an identifiable person. Take those to the proper authority (police, Lokpal or Lokayukta, vigilance), not GJP.
- Don't impersonate anyone, including officials, departments or GJP.
6.2 Privacy
- No personal information, yours or others': phone numbers, addresses, email addresses, Aadhaar, PAN, or other ID numbers, application or case numbers that identify someone, photos of people without their consent, or medical details.
- Never post intimate, nude or sexual images of anyone, real or morphed or AI-made. We remove these within 2 hours of a report.
6.3 Hate, violence and public order
- Nothing that promotes enmity or hatred between groups on religion, caste, race, region, language, gender, sexual orientation or disability.
- No incitement to violence or to any crime, and nothing that threatens India's unity, integrity, security or sovereignty, public order, or relations with other countries.
- Nothing that insults the national flag, the Constitution or the national anthem.
6.4 Truth and misinformation
- Don't post things you know are false or misleading as if they were fact.
- Don't post fake documents, fake screenshots, or doctored figures.
- AI-made or edited images, audio or video that look real must be clearly labelled "AI-generated". Never post AI content that falsely shows a real person or a real event.
- Say when something is your opinion or experience. Give a source for facts where you can.
6.5 Elections and party politics
GJP stays out of party politics. So:
- No campaigning for or against any party or candidate. No party symbols, slogans or flags, and no vote appeals.
- No exit poll results during the period the Election Commission bans them.
- During the 48 hours before polls close in an area, we may hold or hide new election-related posts and comments.
- No paid or coordinated political content, and no posting on behalf of a party without saying so. Better still, don't post it at all.
6.6 Courts, secrets, and the law
- Don't attack judges or courts, or prejudge cases that are still in court (contempt of court).
- Don't post classified, confidential or leaked government documents (Official Secrets Act 1923).
- Nothing that is obscene, sexually explicit, or harmful to children. Child sexual abuse material is reported to the authorities.
- Nothing that infringes copyright, trademarks or other rights. Don't use government emblems or scheme logos in your content.
- No malware, spam, scams, gambling, illegal betting or online-game promotion, money-laundering or any other unlawful content.
6.7 Using the platform fairly
- No spam, ads, self-promotion, referral links or fundraising appeals.
- No fake accounts, vote manipulation, or coordinated reporting to get content hidden.
- No scraping, bots, or automated access without our written permission. Don't try to break or overload the site.
7. How moderation works
- Issues, fixes and scheme suggestions are reviewed before they go live. We approve or reject them only against these rules and the Community Guidelines, not because we agree or disagree. We don't rewrite your words. We may remove names or personal details, shown as "[removed by moderator]". We'll tell you if we reject a post, with the rule it broke.
- Comments go live straight away. An automatic filter blocks some abusive words and personal details. Anyone signed in can report a comment or post.
- A comment that gets 3 reports is hidden automatically until we review it. We then restore it or remove it.
- We may remove any content, suspend or close an account, with or without warning, if it breaks these terms or the law. For serious breaches (threats, sexual content involving anyone, child safety) we act immediately.
- Legal consequences: breaking these rules can also make you liable to penalties under Indian law. Where the law requires, we report offences (for example under the BNS read with the BNSS, or POCSO) to the authorities.
- We keep removed content for at least 180 days (longer if a court or agency asks), as Indian law requires.
- We remind all users of these rules at least every three months.
8. Takedown requests and orders
- Anyone can ask us to remove content (see §9). We decide based on these terms and the law.
- Court orders and government directions: we comply with valid orders from a court, or reasoned written intimations from an authorised officer under the IT Act and IT Rules. We remove content within the required time (currently 3 hours). We may not be allowed to tell you about some orders.
- Copyright complaints: send the work, the post link and proof of ownership to grievance@growthjantaparty.in.
9. Grievance redressal

10. Our content
The site design, text written by GJP, the GJP name and logo belong to the operator. You may share links and short quotes with credit. Scheme names and descriptions belong to the government departments that run them. GJP is not claiming them.
11. Limitation of liability
- GJP is a free, volunteer-run service provided "as is" and "as available". We don't promise it will always work, be error-free, or that scheme information is accurate or current.
- To the extent Indian law allows, we are not liable for:
- any loss from relying on scheme information or user content (for example a missed deadline or a rejected application);
- content posted by users;
- third-party websites we link to;
- indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost data.
- Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to ₹[1,000]. You haven't paid us anything.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability that Indian law doesn't allow to be limited, including for fraud.
- As an intermediary, we rely on the protection in section 79 of the IT Act, 2000 for content posted by users.
12. Indemnity
If someone makes a claim against GJP or its operator because of your content or your breach of these terms or the law, you agree to cover the reasonable costs and losses that result, to the extent the law allows.
13. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from [account settings / by emailing GRIEVANCE EMAIL]. We may suspend or close accounts as set out in §7. Sections 5 (licence for already-shared content), 11, 12 and 15 survive after your account ends.
14. Changes
We may update these terms. We will post the new version with a new date. For significant changes, we will tell signed-in users before they take effect. If you keep using GJP after that, you accept the new terms.
15. Governing law and disputes
- These terms are governed by the laws of India.
- Please contact the Grievance Officer first; most problems can be solved that way.
- Courts in [COURTS CITY], India have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any rights you have under Indian consumer law.
16. Language
These terms are written in English. A full Hindi version is coming, and on request we will provide them in Hindi or any other language in the Eighth Schedule to the Constitution. If versions differ, [the English version prevails — lawyer to confirm].
